Today, and every day, Sandoval Legacy Group, a division of Holstrom, Block & Parke, is proud to support, and honor veterans. In celebration of Veterans Day and Armistice Day, we honor all who serve.
Every year, Veterans Day falls on November 11th – Armistice Day. Armistice Day (officially changed to Veterans Day by President Eisenhower in 1954) marked the end of World War I, but now it serves to honor all service men and women from many countries around the world.
Today holds a truly special place in our hearts as we celebrate and honor America’s veterans for their patriotism, love of country and willingness to serve, and unmatched bravery. We formally recognize those who have served with sacrifice and commitment in a significant manner. Additionally, today has an even more personal place in Dennis Sandoval’s heart. His father, Daniel “Coach” Sandoval, proudly served in the Army during World War II. Dennis grew up listening to Coach’s stories of what Army life was like (if you ever want a laugh, ask Dennis or his family about Coach’s swim test), and the unexpected sights and people he met and helped while serving in the Pacific.

Many veterans have chosen to leave their hometowns, leave their families, and leave behind the comforts of life for a greater calling. Many have traveled across the globe to protect our freedoms and to stand with our allies; many have gone to war for our country and for us as its citizens.
This is a day of honor, pride, and gratitude for all those that have served. It is a day to take a moment to reflect on the importance of our veterans’ service to this great county and the sacrifice made by our fallen heroes. We thank our veterans on this day for their courage, their relentless efforts, their fierce determination, and their loyalty.
At some point today, we encourage you to take a moment to reflect and ask yourself what this holiday means to you.
Please join us as we remember the fallen and their families left behind and thank all our service men and women for their past and continued service.
To all the veterans out there… we salute you! Thank you for your service and sacrifice!
Happy Veterans Day!
